Park City came to life as a mining town. It was only recently that the town transformed into a swank resort. Although Park City is no longer a major mining center, miners tend to look at the area with pride.
The Utah Mining Association is a group supporting the mining industry in Utah. The organization is concerned primarily with advocacy and education for its members.
