Park City Group
Park City Group (NASDAQ: PCYG) is an IT firm that develops supply chain management software.
In the early 1970s, Park City Group's founder and CEO Randall K Fields owned a Palo Alto based consulting firm called Fields Investment Group. His poor wife Debbi was left at home baking cookies. I will try to word this in a way that does not imply that Debbi ended up being more successful than her husband, but, while Mr. Fields was programming, Mrs. Fields began selling her cookies near Stanford University. Mrs. Fields company grew to 900 company-owned locations in 12 before being sold in 1993.
The Park City Group was founded in 1990. The headquarters were located on prime retail space on Park City's Main Street. The headquarters were relocated to Main Street in Salt Lake City.
