The Egyption Theatre

The Egyptian Theatre has a long, meladramatic history. The Egyptian Theatre was built in 1926 for Vaudeville and Talkies. In 1981, the stage was converted for live performances and the Egyptian Theatre Company has been a gem of the Utah theatre scene since.

The Egyptian Theatre now features a new look with an animated stage opening to each of the theatre's events. The site includes information about the theatre, tickets and productions.

The site scores the SOD award on November 26th...It's scheduled opening for the musical The Wizard of Oz.
